Russell brings over 25 years of experience in intellectual property law, with a focus on patent and trademark prosecution, licensing, and strategic intellectual property planning. Russell has represented a wide range of clients, from global corporations like IBM and Intel Americas Inc., to startups and individual inventors—advising on IP protection strategies aligned with business goals and budgets. He has deep expertise in technologies including wireless communications, semiconductors, and software systems. A former team leader of the U.S. National Cycling Team in the 1985 World Championships, Russell brings the same dedication and focus to his legal practice. Russell lives in Austin with his family and is proud to serve clients across the globe.
